Greetings  to all our Pasadena Sister Cities Committee(PSCC) community,

     The final election results from the March 2nd election  have been turned in. I want to thank all the PSCc members who participated in the election process as we had  a great turnout.

     As the election results show, I have been selected to serve our PSCC as the new Chair for the Japan Subcommittee  for 2024. I am truly grateful and I humbly accept this important role.

      It will be my pleasure and a great honor to serve Pasadena in this capacity.

I will work hard to increase the general awareness of both our PSCC program, and our existing PSCC affiliation with our Japan  Sister City of  Mishima.

     On a personal level , I am truly happy and It will be a wonderful experience to learn more about Mishima and the Japanese Culture, for whom I have a deep respect and admiration.

I look forward to working with all existing and new members of our PSCC from all different ethnicities and backgrounds to grow our program in Pasadena and make our friendship and relationship with Mishima even stronger.

      In the upcoming months, the Japan Subcommittee will create a work plan for the year and share any future subcommittee meetings' dates and times and location.

       I look forward to a great year of service at PSCC and to learning more about our Sister City of Mishima, as well as meeting  the people, fellow citizens and leadership of  Mishima, and to learn more about the overall Japanese culture, so that we  can then share that knowledge with all of our Pasadena community and grow our cultural acceptance and awareness, and to  use it to promote world-peace.
