Our Mission
The mission of the Pasadena Sister Cities Committee, Inc. is to promote peace and global understanding through mutual respect, cultural exchange, and cooperation.
One individual and one community at a time.
“One Pasadena”

Dear PSCC Family,
Our Pasadena/Altadena community is facing an unimaginable disaster that has put many of our nonprofits on hold. In this difficult time, some organizations have stepped up to help address the horrific devastation.
One of the nonprofits I oversee has been working tirelessly, with barely a moment to breathe as we deal with serving the community - I know many of you have been working in our community as well.
Tragically, two of our Executive Boardmembers have lost their homes in the fire, along with many others in our community. Our hearts go out to everyone affected. If your home was destroyed or damaged in the Eaton fire, please email us to let us know how we can be helpful to you.
To allow families time to begin the healing process, we will had postponed all meetings . However, if subcommittees want to meet please proceed based on your subcommittee desire to meet.
To our SCI family, please keep the Pasadena Sister Cities Committee in your prayers. If you feel inclined to support the families impacted by the Eaton fire, you can make contributions through Zelle: pscc2024@gmail.com. Let’s keep the Pasadena Sister Cities Committee and its members in our thoughts.
In a world where individual strength often prevails, the mantra "Dena Strong, Dena Love" beautifully embodies our collective empowerment. This is a heartfelt reminder that love and unity can amplify our strengths, helping us overcome challenges and build a brighter future together. Through shared experiences, personal stories, and actionable insights, we can achieve extraordinary things when we stand together.
Join us on this journey to embrace our strength in unity and create lasting change through love and collaboration. Together, we are unstoppable! We will rebuild!
Warm regards,
Lena Louise Kennedy, President
Pasadena Sister Cities Committee, Inc.
